For classical music lovers:

At the Wigmore Hall, Emmanuel Ax plays Beethoven and Schumann on the 11th of May and will be followed by Andras Schiff on the 14th and 15th with a programme dedicated to Schubert.
To be noticed, Mozart's Idomeneo with Ian Bostridge at the Barbican Center on the 14th of May.
Special Pentecote service at Westminster Cathedral on the 11th of May when Messiaen's 'Messe de la Pentecote' will be played and sung by Westminster Cathedral Choir.
Two major musical events will take place on the 17th of May: The Philharmonia Orchestra is play Fauré, Chopin and Prokofiev at the Royal Festical Hall while Saint Martin in the Fields will hold is Gala Concert for the renewal of the church with a programme including works from Bach, Hayden and Mozart.

And why not attend a lunchtime concert?

Anne-Isabel Meyer and Peter Croser playing Bach and Brahms on 13th of May at The Church of St Anne and St Agnes.

For Jazz fans:

Abdullah Ibrahim playing with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the BBC Big Band at the Barbican on the 17th of May.

New Exhibitions:

The Story of the Supremes from Mary Wilson Collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum starting on the 13th of May. This exhibition displays performance customs worn by The Supremes, a popular group in the sixties. And while you are at the V&A why not have a look at the New end date for Collaborators: UK design for Performance 2003-2007 and the Kylie's dressing room.
Don't forget Skin + Bones at the Embankment Gallery at the Somerset House. This exhibition displays works from major fashion designers and architects.
